Waiver: Fraud Rebutted

An individual found inadmissible based on the use of her stolen passport with a U.S. visa by a third party to attempt to enter the U.S. struggled for 10 years to establish the fact that this fraud was perpetrated without her knowledge.  Multiple applications for reconsideration resulted in simple refusals.   Although we could not access the database containing the alleged adverse information,  we helped the applicant cast doubt on the conclusion of knowing participation in the scheme, leading to a favorable consular recommendation for visa relief.  Not only was her waiver approved, but she was granted a 10 year multiple entry visa.
